What is Underground Cable Fault Location & VLF Testing?

Underground cable testing is the specialized detection of short-circuit, open-circuit, earth fault, or high-resistance insulation breakdowns in buried medium and low-voltage power cables. By combining Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) with electromagnetic/acoustic ground tracing and 0.1Hz Very Low Frequency (VLF) Hipot testing, we confirm cable health and pinpoint exact excavation spots.
